Does ALT Text Optimization Apply To All Images In The Store?

ALT text optimization in SEOWILL applies only to images stored in Shopify’s Media Library, which follows the same scope as image compression.

ALT text optimization does not apply to images in the following categories:

• Theme asset images
• Images embedded within description content
• Images added by third-party apps
• Externally hosted images
• Any images not located in Shopify’s Media Library
