Understand "Empty" Meta Tag Fields

The “Original” meta tags are the meta title and meta description synced from your Shopify store before your first optimization in SEOWILL.

How it works:

1. SEOWILL syncs your existing meta tags from Shopify (version A) before your first optimization.
2. After your first optimization, meta tags are updated in SEOWILL (version B).
3. Any further updates, made inside or outside SEOWILL, create a new version (version C).
4. Clicking Restore will revert your meta tags back to version A, the state before your first optimization in SEOWILL.

All updates are instantly synchronized in the Content Audit Optimizer module. You can view the latest meta tags in Content Audit Optimizer → Search engine listing.
